Processing Flow

PTFE powder resin and additives → mixing → baking → premoulding → pressing → calendering → de-oiling → stretching → slitting → rewinding → inspection and packaging

Processing Route

PTFE sealing tape is processed by extrusion and stretching process route. The PTFE bar extruded by piston extruder after pre-pressing of dispersed resin.

Then the finished PTFE bar is calendared into thin strip on two-roller calendar,

Then the sealing tape is obtained by completely removing additives through de-oiling and stretching process.

Then the finished semi product will be cutting into small strips which is according to customer’s required width. 

In the end, the small strips will be rewinding into final teflon tape products by rewinding machine directly.
